AMAZON REVIEWS:

great beach read... chick lit at its finest May 3, 2013

I enjoyed the characters... they were clearly a typical Italian family (I am an American with Italian roots). Food always equals love, and grandparents are treasures who are the nucleus of the family. I enjoyed the explanation of what goes on in the courtroom with respect to malpractice, and the "ah ha" moment towards the end.

5.0 out of 5 stars SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE! March 30, 2013

I really enjoyed this book. It had some mystery, some romance, some suspense and a lot of humor. I also learned a few things. It really gives a behind the scenes look at personal injury cases. Ms. Chase's characters were perfect. Her H/H had the right combination of girl-power meets alpha male and their jobs as personal injury lawyer/defense lawyer were ideal for realistic conflict. The supporting characters were all really quirky and very fun .... they reminded me of a few of my own family members. If you're looking for an easy, fun read take a look at this. I didn't see any other books from this author, but I'll be looking for some.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great story April 10, 2013

Well written. Mystery and romance in one story. The characters are very realistic and you feel like you really know them. Some parts are almost laugh out loud funny. The author has such a way of descrbing the scenes that it is so easy to visualize everything. There are several twists in the story which just make you want to keep reading. I highly recommend this book.I would love to see another book that continues on with the lives of these characters.(hint, hint if you are reading this Miranda Chase).

BARNES & NOBLE REVIEWS:

Personal Injury is a must read. Enjoyed how Angela reveals her love for her quirky Italian family, reveals her self-inflicted flaws. This book enlightens the reader to the area of Personal Injury Law. Looking forward to next book.

A well written entertaining book with great trial details and a sweet, tough and hot heroine!  Loved the details of her extended Italian family, you could smell the lasagna and see Grandma in the kitchen.  When is the next book?

Anyone looking for a good vacation read will be glad they picked up this book.  The heroine, Angela Caruso, is sharp and engaging.  Her aspirations to do good motivate her in her work and the reader feels a connection to her with her successes and missteps.  The undercurrent of romance is further intriguing, and the reader wonders, as Angela does, if she will get the boy, or should she even want to get the boy. The author also did an excellent job of slowly weaving the story of Angela's legal case, which kept this reader wondering about evidence, circumstances, guilt, and trickery throughout.  Its a fun read!      Personal Injury is a must read. Enjoyed how Angela reveals her love for her quirky Italian family, reveals her self-inflicted flaws. This book enlightens the reader to the area of Personal Injury Law. Looking forward to next book.
