Miranda Chase is the author of Personal Injury and Bad Faith. Both novels are contemporary, romantic comedies published by Desert Breeze Publishing.
Miranda is a retired trial lawyer. For fifteen years she defended personal injury lawsuits as an insurance defense lawyer in Columbus, Ohio. She recently hung up her briefcase and became a stay-at-home mom. However, her love for the courtroom and experience with a whole host of different issues and people made a career in fiction writing an obvious endeavor. Miranda is thrilled to share her light-hearted perspective of the legal system with readers of all professions and interests.
Miranda was born into a large, Italian family in Worcester, Massachusetts. Her parents and extended family are some of the most important people in her life. After graduating from law school, she fell in love with her wonderful husband from the Midwest. Now Columbus is their home. Miranda has two young children who will always be her greatest accomplishments. They make her laugh every day.
When Miranda isn’t carting kids to and from school and extra-curricular activities, she’s writing, traveling or raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
